HOW DOES THE COURSE WORK?

Under the care of a professional tutor you will learn and practice your dream choreography in 3 lessons. How is this possible so quickly? Thanks to our experience and individual care.

WHERE DO WE TEACH?

We teach wedding dance in our dance studio in the centre of Prague near Charles Square (Na Zbořenci 7) or in Prague 9 (Českolipská 373). Classes are held 7 days a week.

The 3 lesson package for the wedding dance includes everything necessary for this event: choosing the music, choosing the dance, rehearsing the wedding choreography and practicing it, including a simulation of a specific orientation in space. Thanks to us you will dance your wedding dance perfectly and without unnecessary nerves. After practicing it, you will look like you have been dancing for years and gain the necessary confidence.

A wedding dance or newlywed dance is a specially choreographed dance to a specific piece of music. Elegant or crazier step variations are interspersed with fancy poses, contortions or simple lifts. Wedding dance can also be an improvisation of learned elements.

  • What is danced as the first dance at a wedding?

The first dance or the newlyweds’ dance is usually chosen according to the song chosen. It can be a slow waltz, an elegant and sublime waltz or a passionate rumba. Other Latin dances or a mix of several dances together are also very popular. 

  • Where can I learn a wedding dance?

Experienced teachers from our dance school in the centre of Prague will teach you wedding dance. The day and time of the lessons is flexible and will adapt to your possibilities

  • What is the best music for a wedding dance?

You can choose from popular songs by international artists. Type “Top wedding songs” into the web search engine and find out what ranks among the world’s favorites. You can also choose your favourite song. Our instructors are able to choreograph to any song you wish.

When to start practicing wedding dance?

The ideal time to start practicing your first newlywed dance is approximately one month before the wedding. We can master a simple and effective choreography in 3 lessons. If you would like more challenging choreography, we recommend starting a little ahead of time. Some clients like to start lessons earlier and then practice, while others like to learn just before the wedding so they don’t forget the dance. It is very individual.
